The Frank Lloyd Wright Midway Gardens chess set includes multiple "sprites" and other distinctive design elements Mr. Wright created for the Midway Gardens, a cultural and entertainment complex built in Chicago, Illinois, in 1914. The chess set is cold cast resin with hand-rubbed patina finish. King and Queen are 5" high with other pieces in proportion. The chess board measures 18.75" square x .75" height.
