Frank Lloyd Wright’s SC Johnson Global Headquarters was built between 1936 and 1939 in the Racine Wisconsin. The 15 story Research Tower addition was built between 1944 and 1950. The SC Johnson complex was a departure from the usual prairie style Frank Lloyd Wright was know for, creating a modern office building that was "a true glimpse of the shape of things to come". From unique curved bricks on the outside of the buildings, to the lily pad columns in the Great Workroom, this office complex was a vision of the future. Still standing today, the SC Johnson Global Headquarters was deemed a National Historic Landmark in 1976. Adam Reed Tucker, LEGO Master Builder and the founder of The Atom Brick believes that this 3/4 scale brick (the mini brick) is an ideal size to realize projects with a balance of dimension, design, and detail.
