The inspiration for the William Morris Blackthorn Enamel Earrings comes from Blackthorn (1892), a block-printed wallpaper design. William Morris (1834–1896) was associated with the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, and a founder of the British Arts & Crafts Movement. The acclaimed designer, artist, and writer was a major contributor to the revival of traditional British textile arts and methods of production.
